HIM is a finnish rock band that is extremely AWESOME, they have been huge in Europe for about 6 years.
The members of the band have been friends most of their lives, especially Ville, Linde, and Minge who attented grade school together. They formed the band in around 1991, under the name His Infernal Majesty. After a wile when they became more known they changed the name of the band from His Infernal Majesty to H.I.M. because it made the impression that they were satanic, which is not true, and now they are just HIM so that they don't cause any confusion to anyone.
HIM make a very unique style of music because they blend many different elements into it. Black Sabbath was a large influence to the band, one of their favorite bands, infact HIM was suppose to tour with their idol Ozzy but due to his ATV accident the tour was cancelled. Valo (lead singer) grew up listening to many different types of music he loves Elvis and Iggy Pop but he also listens to Neil Diamond and Black Sabbath.
